ATFL Roundup

A few ATFL announcements.. SK/WM were the strongest alliance in season one and ended with a 20-2 record, winning 91% of their games. WM, as a clan, came out undefeated. For season 2, TN is proud to be allied with our friends from Ht. This alliance looks to be pretty strong, and so we hope to give WM/CE a run for their money. :-) And another collossus has formed: Gothic Terror and Megadeath will be fighting side by side in this 2nd season. They will surely be a fiercesome competitor. The default day has moved from Tuesday (stolen from IGL TS :P) to Monday. Remember, the "default" day should only be used if the 2 clans involved simply cannot schedule it for another day. (I would make Mondays "THE" ATFL night, but it would have to be unanimous.) During this first round of our 2nd seasonal rotation, we are giving clans an extra week to finish their round 1 matches due to the holidays. We will be having a meeting this coming monday @ 10 ET/7PT. Each clan should send a representative. We will discuss a variety of topics related to ATFL, and vote on any decisions that should be made. I am very glad ATFL was as successful as it was for it's debut season and appreciate the friendly competition each clan has brought with them. TsB melts YS

On Thursday night TsB and YS squared off on the battlefields for STA which is caps only.....i for one did not play in the 1st game but heres what i think happened... About 15 minutes passed of fragging with TsB-Dalroth cleaning up the bridge with his excellent sniping... then boom out of nowhere Rinjiro(of tsb) gets YS's flag and scurries up the spirals not to be stopped and he pulls it to oursniper roast and caps it!...the 1st Round ended with TsB up on YS 1-0... RD2: i played this round...i was lonesome engineer...after the first 10 minutes of no flag touches YS pulls our flag out and goes the distance... then we respond by me building gun in BM and attacking....We pull out a cap.... then another and another....3-1 that game so far and boom here goes another as i bring it some of the way! RD2 ends with a great score of 4-1 in favor of TSB! RD1:1-0 TsB over YS RD2:4-1 TsB over YS

Round 1: We capped 6 times on them... They were pretty heavy Defense and practically no offense.
Round 2: They forfeit round 2.... =( We were having fun in Rnd 1...darn! hehe. =)

FLiPZ takes down DLG

Tonight's match kicked off the new STA tourny for us and the rest of the clans in the tourny. As most ppl know, there are always some of those games that are just plane fun, and this game was one of those. The first round was held on the FLiPZ -=Titan=- server on 2fort5r. Pings were nomenal for everyone. FLiPZ started with their scout rush, bustin' out of the fort. Before I could reach the basement to place my sentry gun, the offense had their first touch, and slowly worked up the flag for the first cap of the game. Most of the DLG's offense were stopped before they reached the FLiPZ basement. DeathTongue was the mad flag toucher, with a little help from Mesc the spy, for the first round. Though DLG had quite a few flag touch's, the FLiPZ D held them to no caps for the first round.
Rnd 1 score: FLiPZ 642(4) - DLG 152(0) The second round was brough back to the FLiPZ server to be played. The game started with crazy scout rushes for both teams. Within the first minute or two both teams had a cap to their name. After the second time DLG pulled the flag away from the FLiPZ basement, the FLiPZ D dug in to stop anyone else entering the base. The offenses were going nutz for both teams, the FLiPZ O kept inching the flag out throughout the whole game.
The final score of rnd 2: 938(7) - 335(2).
